Andy, is the course designed to help you moderate or give up alcohol?

Both! This is a coaching process where you can examine your own relationship with alcohol and make the changes you want.

I want to cut down but do I have to give up completely

If cutting down is your goal, you still need to take a break. By doing so, you achieve some emotional distance by where you can reassess where you feel able to make god decisions, and where you need to be kind to yourself by not putting yourself under undue pressure.

I’d like a chat before I commit to the programme. How do I book a call?

You can book a 1-2-1 call with Andy at here. Here you will see available slots in the diary and all you need to do is follow the instructions. Please do be careful around time zones - remember that Andy is based in the UK, which could have an impact on you if you are calling from Australia, New Zealand, USA or Canada. There are a variety of time slots to suit all geographies.

How I'm feeling

I'm waking up with headaches as if I have been drinking - is this normal?

Everybody is different. As the body detoxifies, you can sometimes get various ‘drinking symptoms’ such as the feeling of a hangover. Some people also report vivid dreams in the early stages relating to drinking. This should pass as you continue to look after yourself. Please keep hydrated, eat nutritious food and consider a multivitamin. Fresh air and mild exercise can also really help. If your symptoms persist then please consult your doctor.

I’ve finished the programme and am doing well but I still think about drink a lot. Is that normal?

Yes it is. Over time, as alcohol becomes a less pivotal part of your regular habits, you will find you think about it less and less. However, in the early stages whilst you are applying yourself to this issue, it is perfectly normal to think about alcohol a lot. Remember, you are learning new thought processes and new ways to respond and you are finding a new, more positive focus for your thoughts. Keep going!

Oopsie!

Oh no! It’s gone wrong and I’ve had a wobble! What is best to do tomorrow, start from the beginning or continue from where I was?

The first thing to do is to give yourself a hug. Do not beat yourself up about this. Mistakes can be an important part of learning so, as the old saying goes ‘when you lose, don’t lose the lesson’. Pause, take a breath and understand what this has taught you. You are going through a process of reframing some firmly held beliefs, so being able to forgive yourself and keep moving forwards is really important.

Starting the modules again can be very helpful, as you will be in a different place now and you will find different things may resonate. However, the only important thing is that wherever you choose to start again, you move onwards.

100 day programme

Do you have any tips to ward off temptation?

Yes! We cover this in the 100 day follow up programme, where we deal with a lot of the practical realities of getting your drinking back under control - as well as helping you focus on how to reclaim your own happiness (vs past behaviors).

Enjoying going through the stages of the FREEDOM programme, but I was wondering, when I have completed the programme, will it still be online to return to at a later stage, or once complete does it disappear?

Once you have purchased the programme you have lifetime access. Many of the tools you will learn will prove useful for other life challenges so we recommend that you revisit it as many times as you need.

Miscellaneous

Is there a professional referral process to the programme that you prefer we use? What about unpaid referrals?

Offering financial incentives for referrals (via an affiliate programme) feels at odds with the ethos of helping people so we don’t use one of these. However we do accept referrals from medical and non-medical practitioners.

We also meet lots of people via word of mouth and we are always delighted when our clients and friends recommend us. If you have someone you would like to share the programme with, then please do so!

Where can I send a testimonial?

We love to hear from our clients. Your story could be the inspiration that someone else needs to transform their own life for the better. If you would like to share a story, you can do so by replying to any of Andy’s emails.
